and UEP12 for the Generation Sector Training Package

Units are designed to provide participants with the basic knowledge and skills needed to perform HV Switching Operations for Mining, Marine and other industries. It deals with the skills and knowledge required to undertake the local operation of high voltage circuit breaking devices and performance of H.V. switching to a given switching program.

Electricity Supply Industry - Generation Sector Training Package UEP12 Units of competency

UEPSS00003 - High Voltage Operation - H.V. Switching

UEPOPS349B - Operate Local HV switchgear

UEPOPS456A - Perform switching to a switching program.

UEPOPS428B - Develop High Voltage Switching Programs

UEPOPS525A - Coordinate and direct switching program

We provide specially tailored training to each client by incorporating the client's own internal forms, polices, procedures and Permits in the training material. We ensure all State Regulatory requirements such as DOCEP (Energy Safety and Resources Safety) and Energy Safety in Western Australia or other state or international country regulatory requirements are addressed in regards to regulatory requirements in the electrical industry.

The training is usually conducted at the client's work site to ensure practical training is performed on equipment and Switchgear that is relevant your site, therefore minimizing cost and inconvenience to the client.
